In Windows Explorer, when you want to open your files with a specify program instead of default program, Windows some times suggests you many programs which some of them is useless. It's uncomfortable! To resolve this problem, you just make some edit in the registry.
- Open Registry Editor: Start > Run: regedit
- Backup your registry system for safety: On registry editor menu, File > Export . . . Then save your backup in safe area.
- On registry editor , find this key: KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts. You will see list of file extensions which contain your target file extension.
