yes there is great freeware but try to get it from a reltaubpe source, sourceforge, c-net, majorgeekssoftpedia looks a little scary but i have never heard anything bad about them. i wish i could remember the one i use, is well known and very useful, but is on my other computer and my memory( my brains memory) is shotha she remembered it, audacity
