How to live stream to Facebook from PC

Facebook has allowed user to make live stream. However, you can only start live by using Facebook app from your smartphone. So that, your live stream videos will be not enough quality. Here we show you how to start live from your computers with hight quality.
How to live stream to Facebook from PC

  • Sign in to your Facebook page with administator account on web browser. Click Publishing Tools on top menu.
  • On the left menu, click Video Library. Now you will see +Live button. Click it. Facebook will give you Server URL and Stream Key. Copy them.
  • On your computer, open a stream software (Wirecast, Xsplit Broadcaster...) and use the copied info (Server URL and Stream Key) to start sending data to Facebook. Example: We click Broadcast > Add channel > Custom RTMP. Input Server URL to RTMP URL, Stream Key to Stream name. Then click OK. Finally, click Broadcast and click on created channel.
  • Come back Facebook, click Preview button. You will see the preview of your live stream. If the software sent data to Facebook successfully, you can click Go Live.
